Some 75,000 wrestling fans descended on Des Moines last week for the state high school wrestling tournament.

Waverly-Shell Rock's Go-Hawks ended the Iowa State High School wrestling tournament with 225 points, while Iowa City West came in second place with 4 state champions in Class 3A.

Early Sunday morning, Des Moines experienced an ice storm with sleet later turning into snow and blizzard-like conditions. Hope the wrestlers and fans made it home safely...
